Specialist Learning Program

Whilst all teachers are encouraged to develop a multi-disciplinary set of skills, a number of programs seek to promote excellence in learning through engagement of the student with a ‘specialist’ teacher. The specialist teacher draws upon a well-developed and specific set of skills and interest in a particular area of the curriculum. The attendance of groups of students at specialist lessons provides other teachers with non-contact time for planning and meeting purposes.
