Money collections

Payments of money to the school for excursions, camps, contributions, photos and the like should be made to the class teacher in a clearly labelled envelope, including name, grade, amount enclosed and purpose. An official cash register receipt will be issued and returned to the student in the class cash collection box. Parents should retain these receipts for their records.

Eftpos Facilities Available
Eftpos facilities is available at the school office during school hours for payments over $10.00.

Excursion payments – other costs
Specific educational activities for children can include a range such as Arts Council, Swimming and Life Saving Programs, class excursions, school camps and levies for interschool sport. Parents are also asked to contribute to the cost of these each year.

Payments for camps and swimming programs can be made over time but unfortunately the school is not able to support payments of sporting bus fees on a weekly basis.

Student Banking

Springwood Road State School participates in a student banking program through the Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Student banking is undertaken each Tuesday. Students send their deposit books to the office where they are processed and then returned to the student. Application forms for new accounts can be obtained through the school office.

Contribution Scheme - Reading and Library Materials

The provision of up to date reading and reference materials is essential to the development of sound literacy skills in children. To supplement existing resources we ask parents to contribute $40 per student or $70 per family (if more than one student) as part of a reading and library materials. This is greatly appreciated.
